Fantastic Cubic Dash Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Fantastic Cubic Dash, and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. At first, I was a bit skeptical - the game's trailer made it look like just another endless runner, but with a weird cubic twist. And, honestly, that's exactly what it is. You play as this little cube that has to dash through a never-ending series of obstacles, all while trying to collect as many points as possible. But, despite the simplicity of the concept, I found myself getting really into it.
The gameplay is super smooth, and the controls are really responsive. I was playing on my PC, and I had no issues with lag or anything like that. The graphics are also pretty cool - the cubic theme is actually really visually appealing, and the different environments you dash through are all really well-designed. My favorite part is probably the way the cube changes color and pattern as you collect points - it's a small touch, but it adds a lot to the overall experience.
One thing that did start to get on my nerves after a while was the repetition. I mean, the game is an endless runner, so you're basically doing the same thing over and over again. And, while the obstacles do get progressively harder as you go, it's not like there's a huge amount of variation. I found myself feeling like I was just going through the motions after a while, rather than actually having to think or react. That being said, the game does have a few power-ups and bonuses that you can collect, which do add a bit of excitement to the proceedings.
I also appreciated the fact that the game has a pretty chill soundtrack. It's not too intrusive, but it does add to the overall atmosphere of the game. And, while I didn't really notice any super memorable tracks, the music is definitely catchy and upbeat. The sound effects are also pretty good - the cube's little beeps and boops as it dashes through the level are actually really cute.
Overall, I'd say that Fantastic Cubic Dash is a solid, if not spectacular, game. It's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of endless runners, or if you're just looking for something to play in short bursts. The game is also really easy to pick up and play, so it's a great option if you're looking for something to play with friends or family. That being said, I'm not sure how much longevity the game has - like I said, it does get a bit repetitive after a while, and I'm not sure how much I'll be playing it in the long term.
Despite its flaws, though, I did have a lot of fun playing Fantastic Cubic Dash. It's a great game to play when you just want to zone out and have some mindless fun, and it's definitely a good option if you're looking for something to play on a lazy Sunday afternoon. So, if you're in the mood for a fun, if not particularly challenging, game, I'd definitely recommend giving Fantastic Cubic Dash a try. Just don't expect it to blow your mind or anything - it's a solid, middle-of-the-road game that's worth a play, but not necessarily a must-play.
