Merge Animals Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last few hours playing Merge Animals and I have to say, it's been a pretty wild ride. I mean, I've played my fair share of casual games before, but there's something about this one that just drew me in. The concept is pretty simple - you get these little animal eggs that you have to merge together to create new, more powerful creatures. Sounds easy, right? Well, it's not as straightforward as you'd think. You have to think strategically about which animals to merge, when to merge them, and how to use the resources you get from merging them.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about the game. I mean, it's not like it's a super complex or deep game or anything. But the more I played, the more I found myself getting hooked. There's something really satisfying about seeing those little animals combine into something new and more powerful. And the graphics are actually pretty cute, too - the animations are simple but they get the job done. The soundtrack is also pretty catchy, although it can get a bit repetitive after a while.

One thing that I didn't like about the game is the ads. Oh man, the ads. They're everywhere. You can't go more than a few minutes without getting hit with another ad, and it gets really annoying. I get that the game is free and all, but can't they just tone it down a bit? It feels like they're trying to nickel and dime me for every little thing. And don't even get me started on the in-app purchases. I mean, I'm all for supporting the devs and all, but some of the stuff they're selling is just ridiculous. Like, who's going to pay real money for a bunch of virtual coins or whatever?

Despite all the ads and in-app purchases, though, I still found myself having a lot of fun playing Merge Animals. The game has a way of sucking you in and making you want to keep playing, even when you know you should probably stop. And the satisfaction of merging those animals together is just so great. I found myself competing with myself to see how far I could get, how many animals I could merge, and what kind of crazy creatures I could create. It's not the most complex or challenging game out there, but it's definitely a fun way to pass the time.

As I kept playing, I started to notice that the game gets progressively harder. The animals start to take longer to merge, and you have to think more strategically about how to use your resources. It's not just a matter of merging animals willy-nilly anymore - you have to think about what you're trying to achieve and how to get there. And that's where the game really starts to shine. It's not just a mindless casual game anymore - it's actually a bit of a challenge. And I have to say, I'm pretty hooked.

Overall, I'd say that Merge Animals is a solid casual game that's definitely worth checking out. It's not perfect, and it's got its fair share of flaws, but it's just so darn fun to play. If you're looking for something to pass the time, or just something to play in short bursts, then Merge Animals is definitely worth a look. Just be prepared for the ads and in-app purchases, and you'll be golden. And who knows - you might just find yourself getting hooked like I did.
