I just spent the last hour playing New Years Eve Makeup and I'm still trying to figure out why I wasted my time. I mean, I'm not exactly the target audience for this type of game, but I thought it could be a fun way to pass the time. The game is basically a makeup simulator where you get to decorate a girl's face for New Year's Eve. Sounds simple enough, right? But trust me, it's not as exciting as it sounds.

The gameplay is pretty basic - you've got a bunch of different makeup options like eyeshadow, lipstick, and mascara, and you get to apply them to the girl's face. The problem is, it's all just a bit too easy. I mean, I'm not exactly a makeup expert, but I found myself just slapping on random colors and designs without any real challenge or difficulty. And the worst part is, the game doesn't even give you any real feedback on how you're doing. You just kind of... do your thing, and then it's over.

I will say, the graphics are pretty decent. The girl's face is pretty well-rendered, and the makeup looks pretty realistic. But that's about where it ends. The music is this annoying, repetitive tune that got stuck in my head for hours after I stopped playing. And the sound effects are just a bunch of generic, cheesy sound bites that are supposed to make the game more "fun" and "exciting". Newsflash: they don't.

One thing that really annoyed me about this game is the lack of replay value. I mean, once you've played through it once, there's really no reason to go back and play it again. You've seen all the makeup options, you've applied them all to the girl's face, and that's it. There's no real challenge or difficulty to speak of, so there's no sense of accomplishment or satisfaction. You just kind of... play it, and then you're done.

I guess if you're really into makeup or fashion, you might find this game mildly entertaining. But for the rest of us, it's just a boring, shallow experience that's not really worth your time. I mean, there are so many better games out there that are actually challenging and fun to play. This one just feels like a lazy cash-grab, designed to separate you from your money without actually providing any real value or entertainment.

Overall, I'd say New Years Eve Makeup is a skippable game. Unless you're really, really into makeup, there's just no reason to play it. The gameplay is boring, the music is annoying, and the replay value is nonexistent. There are so many better games out there - go play one of those instead. Trust me, you won't be missing out on anything by skipping this one.
