Or how the game will occasionally throw in a surprise - like a sudden rainstorm that makes the track all slippery, or a shortcut that you can take to get ahead of the competition. It's these little touches that make the game feel more alive, and more exciting.

Overall, I'd say Racing Portal is definitely worth checking out. It's a fun, fast-paced racing game that's full of surprises and challenges. It's not perfect - there are a few minor flaws here and there - but it's definitely one of the most enjoyable racing games I've played in a while. If you're a fan of the genre, or just looking for something new to try, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. Just be prepared to spend a few hours getting used to the whole portal thing - it takes a bit of practice to master, but trust me, it's worth it.
