Touch Draw Game Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last hour playing Touch Draw Game and I've got to say, it's been a pretty mixed bag for me. I mean, the concept is cool - you're essentially drawing shapes to solve puzzles and progress through levels. It sounds simple, but it can actually get pretty challenging, especially as you get further into the game. The problem is, it's not always clear what you're supposed to be doing, and that can get frustrating.
I'll admit, I had to restart a few levels because I just had no idea what the game was looking for. The tutorials are pretty brief, and after that, you're kind of on your own. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have a bit more guidance, especially for some of the more complex puzzles. On the other hand, when you do figure out what you're doing, it can be pretty satisfying. There's a sense of accomplishment when you finally solve a tricky level, and that's what keeps you coming back for more.
The graphics are pretty basic, but they get the job done. I mean, you're not playing this game for the visuals, you're playing it for the puzzles, so it's not a huge deal. The sound effects are actually pretty nice, though - they're simple, but they add a bit of personality to the game. And the music is okay, I guess. It's not annoying, which is more than I can say for some other games I've played. Overall, the presentation is nothing special, but it's not bad either.
One thing that does bug me is the lack of variety in the puzzles. I mean, you're basically doing the same thing over and over - drawing shapes to solve puzzles. It gets a bit repetitive after a while, and I found myself wishing for something more. Maybe some different types of puzzles, or some kind of storyline to keep things interesting. As it is, the game can feel a bit one-note, and that's a shame, because I think with a bit more development, this could be a really great game.
Despite its flaws, I do think Touch Draw Game is worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of puzzle games. It's not perfect, but it's a fun way to pass the time, and it's definitely challenging. Just be prepared for a bit of frustration, especially in the early going. With a bit of patience, though, you can get a lot of enjoyment out of this game. And who knows, maybe the developers will add some more features or variety in the future - that would definitely make the game more appealing to me.
Overall, I'd say Touch Draw Game is a solid, if not spectacular, puzzle game. It's not going to blow you away, but it's a fun way to challenge yourself and kill some time. If you're looking for something to play in short bursts, this might be a good choice. Just don't expect too much in the way of variety or complexity, and you'll be fine. I'm going to keep playing, at least for a while - I'm curious to see how far I can get, and I'm hoping that the game will get more interesting as I progress. We'll see, I guess.
